If you love coffee, gum, and anything hipster, you have to visit Seattle. You may or may not need a rain coat (because who knows what the weather is actually going to be), and some good walking shoes, but most importantly a spirit of discovery and hours to kill.

PIKES PLACE MARKET |

You have to visit Pikes Place Market. It is right on the dock with so much to do and see. I loved all the handy craft stalls that are where and all the knick knacks that are for sale. Pikes Place Market is also the place to buy flowers! My goodness they were so many to choose from but most definitely can't leave without!

THE GUM WALL |

The Gum Wall is a must see attraction if you are ever in the neighborhood. It's located near the old Market Theater and has layers of history (and DNA). The tradition began in 1993 when patrons would stick their gum to the wall and insert coins into the gum blobs. In the beginning it was a hassle for the managers but later in 1999 the Market officials deemed it a tourist attraction. In 2009, the Gum Wall was named in the top 5 most germiest tourist attractions, yet it is still super fun to go check out.

RENT A VINTAGE VOLKSWAGEN |

Seriously probably the coolest things we ever did! To complete your Seattle Tourist experience, renting a vintage Volkswagen is a must!

VISIT A NURSERY |

In the PNW, we love our greens! When we planned our trip visiting a nursery was definitely on the list. We felt so refreshed after visiting and I pretty much wanted to take every succulent home with me.

BUY A DRINK STARBUCKS |

Did you know that the first ever Starbucks is in the Pikes Place Market in Seattle? That's definitely were we get our name for being coffee snobs. But despite our proud coffee origin, getting a drink at this Starbucks is a must. You might have to wait in line for a good 10-15 minutes just to get in the door, but just to say you have done it is totally work it!

VISIT THE SPACE NEEDLE |

If you ever wondered what this pointy disc looking building was in the Seattle city skyline, that would be the Space Needle. It was built for the 1962 World's Fair where over 2.3 million people attended. It is still today one of the USA's most toured icons and a tourist attractions for many nations. There is also a super cool art park at the base of it that is worth the walk through too.

Definitely something to add to your list.
